Green Oak Designs consists of Kevin and Michelle Ward and was born in December 2008.

 

We have had many, many years of attending car boot sales, craft fairs and such like and it is here that our interest in Jewellery was nurtured as it was apparent that the majority of dealers were setting their prices way out of reach of the general public with scandulously high mark ups.

 

We began to search through the internet, village fetes, jumble sales etc and quickly realised that we could offer Jewellery at a much lower price than was the norm and still make a profit for ourselves. And so, Green Oak Designs was born.

 

After attending several small fairs selling pre-made jewellery, we decided to try our hands at making our own jewellery.

It all began with Kevin carefully and lovingly stringing together an amber chip necklace as a present for me for our wedding anniversary.

 From that small idea, our interest grew and grew.. We started to experiment with different types of beads and threads. Finding the right combination wasn’t always easy and often, modern or new beads didn’t really work. So we thought about what we wanted to sell, where we wanted to sell and what we were going to use in our products.

Now 2 years on, we are branching out onto the fairs + festivals circuit, travelling right across the UK, offering our wares at rock bottom prices and giving a 100% guarantee of uniqueness with each piece.

We will NEVER, knowingly produce  identical pieces, and if you are not satisfied with your puchase, for any reason at all, then we will give you your money back without hesitation.

We pride ourslves on offering a good, old fashioned customer service to all our clients , always  promoting the ethos that quality does not have to be expensive.
